Kent appoints British Isaac Lockett as Executive Advisor

Kent Cricket Club Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Isaac Lockett as the first Executive Advisor with immediate effect.

Isaac is a Leeds, United Kingdom based Sports Psychology student at University, and alongside this he is a senior medical researcher for various biotechnology companies in the UK. He is a qualified children's cricket coach and he has also had experience as a team administrator. He has been elected as his university cricket teams treasurer. Isaac role will include and not limited to providing policy and information analysis, advice and project management support to the chief executive and chief operating on the day to day operations of to club. He will need to develop useful relationship with individuals, organizations and sponsors to promote Kent events. Advising the CEO on relevant matters while supporting the chief operating officer, the leadership team, the men and women's team". Commenting after receiving the appointment letter as Executive Advisor, Isaac Lockett said; "I have lots of different experiences within cricket and I look to bring all of them together to help Kent CC. I believe that I will be able to bring youthful excitement, determination, creativity and project leadership experience which will all come together to help Kent CC and the Board to further develop this already impressive club". "Finally, I would like to thank Emmanuel Pessima for giving me the introduction into the club and for this opportunity. I look forward to a long and happy relationship between myself and the club. I believe that I can make a real difference here and I hope that I can put these words into practice"- Isaac concluded Bernard Turay, Chairman, Kent Cricket Club said ; "On behalf of the entire team we would like to welcome Isaac as part of our team in Sierra Leone and we have full confidence in him that he will build on the success of the club and further work with our Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer to implement our strategic plan".
