We are saddened by the death of talented Christine Lamin, who was a promising youngster for Sierra Leone.
Christine was a player of the Kent juniors team, and participated in several competitions hosted by the Sierra Leone Cricket Association. His younger sister Christiana Lamin is a member of the Kent girls team.
The 15- year old, who would have gained admission to the senior secondary school this month after scoring a very good grade at the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), was a keen cricketer.
We at Kent Cricket Club offer our heartfelt condolences to the father of Christine - who is a former captain of the Sierra Leone Cricket Men's team ( The Patriots ) - Lansana Lamin, the mother Fatmata Tantu Mansaray, sister Christiana Lamin, the cricket fraternity and the Sierra Leone Cricket Association.
