Kent to host Asian Pro in pre-season friendly

Kent Cricket Club Sierra Leone is getting ready to host one of the best clubs in the country with the highest number of spin bowlers and solid batsmen, Asian Pro Cricket Club in a pre-season warm-up friendly. The T20 match will be played at the current home of cricket, Prince of Wales Secondary School ground in Kingtom, Freetown on Sunday 10th December 2017 at 9:30 am.

Announcing the squad, Head Coach, Joseph Pessima said" The team will be without our fine all-rounder Nabeel Shahzad who is expected to return for training before the opening T20 Premier League math. We will be welcoming five promising youngsters; Richard Tengbeh, Raymond Coker, Samuel Conteh, George Sesay and Jonathan Bundu who were on loan playing for different clubs at the just concluded T20 Division One League.

"I believe the warm up match against Asian Pro will provide an opportunity to access the players, while picking on their mistakes which I will be working on to put the team in the right frame of mind before our opening T20 Premier League match on Sunday 17th December 2017"- said Joseph.

He further said "the preseason match will help us to further strengthen the squad, build their confidence and allow the youngsters to compete against solid bowlers and batsmen".
