The Management of Kent Cricket Club is pleased to announce the re-appointment of James Bundu as the Men’s team Captain with Bockarie Abdul as his vice captain.
James a top order batsman will lead the Kent side in the Mercury T20 Premier League, Mercury Super League and the Mercury ODI Premier League. He captained the Kent Men’s team that gained promotion last year to the Premier League but unfortunately he was not able to lead the team during the Premier League due to his work commitment.
James Bundu said: “I am extremely excited to be re-appointed as a leader in the Kent squad and look forward to the start of the T20 Premier League in December.
Emmanuel Pessima, Chief Executive Officer said: “James is a talented cricketer and a strong leader that has proved himself as an excellent mentor to younger players as well as establishing himself as a first team regular player of the Sierra Leone U-19 national cricket team. The dual were members of the U-15 national cricket team”.
“He has a huge amount of experience and knows exactly what it takes to guide his younger cricketers."
