Kent Cricket Club has completed a successful nine (9) weeks cricket coaching course for children at the American International School of Freetown (AISF) for 1st Trimester.
Joseph Pessima, Head of Community Cricket, Kent Cricket Club said "I am delighted that we have completed the first Trimester and we are looking forward to the second Trimester. He said "all aspects of the game of cricket were covered during the 9 weeks course with a challenging and exciting finish".
Kent Chief Executive Officer, Emmauel Pessima said "thanks to our major partner Kent County Cricket Club in England who provided us with the Kwik Cricket set equipment that we used in their entire coaching program. He also gave thanks to the authorities of the American school in Freetown for the opportunity to coach their children, which they appreciate very much saying by that, the game will grow not only in the schools but in the country as a whole. Emmanuel Pessima praised the two coaches Joseph Pessima and Joseph Pessima for their outstanding job to teach the kids about the game of cricket which the club is very happy for. The Chief Executive Officer has said there are more challenges in the years to come for Kent Cricket Club based on the club's vision. They are ready for the challenges which by the grace of God they will go through because they are working as a team.
