Kent Cricket CEO attends cricket tourney in Greece


Kent Cricket club of Sierra Leone Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Emmanuel Pessima is in Greece as a Special Guest to the 6th International Schools Cricket Tournament in Corfu that is being hosted by the Hellenic Cricket Federation. The tournament started on the 9th May and will end on Saturday 14th May 2016.

Emmanuel is expected to do a presentation on what the club is doing in Sierra Leone and with it hoping to attract more people to Support Sierra Leone and the club. Pessima stated that as CEO of the club he will do the best to sell the club internationally so that they will be able to have more international partners coming on board.

Kent Cricket Club team was supposed to participate at the 6th International Schools Cricket tournament but because of lack of funding the club was not able to travel so “I was invited as a Special Guest by the Greek people.”

He went further to give special thanks to our sponsor Onlime Business Communications (Formerly Limeline) for providing the air ticket. They are Sierra Leone’s premier internet services provider. He said they are an amazing business people who have the passion to support cricket in Sierra Leone. He also thanked the Government of Sierra Leone as his visa was processed through the Diplomatic channel by the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Sierra Leone High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria.
