Twenty20 Company Boosts KCC with Trophies and Medals

The Kent Cricket Club (KCC) on Tuesday received a major boost from United Kingdom-based Twenty20 Cricket Company, who donated 45 medals and 10 trophies for winners in the ongoing Limeline U-12 Cricket Championship 2013.

With the tournament edging to a close this weekend, the medals and trophies have already reached the club’s secretariat after being shipped from the UK courtesy of the chairman of ‘A Call to Business Group’, Paul Szkiler who bore the cost.

Chief Executive Officer of KCC, Emmanuel Pessima, said he was delighted to have received the items ahead of the final, which he said could spur the young lads on the final day of the tournament.

“Words can’t express my thanks and appreciation to Twenty20 Company and Paul Szkiler for their contribution towards this tournament. We are grateful for these items, which we will surely present to the deserving winners,” Pessima said.

Meanwhile, the tournament will continue on September 14 with current table-toppers, Mark Demos taking on second place Martin Michael in the grand-final. Stuart Bentham will battle Abdul Tejan-Cole for the third place, while the battle for fifth place will involve Darren Talbot and Peter Wellings.
