School Coaching
Kent coaches continually conduct cricket coaching sessions for Boys and Girls Schools in Sierra Leone. There are few schools with a history of playing cricket in Sierra Leone. Kent has made an effort to spread the game beyond its traditional schools, and realised that a new generation of cricketers are needed! In recent years, successful coaching sessions have been conducted at the American International School of Freetown (see http://awoko.org/2014/06/21/sierra-leone-sports-kcc-launches-partnership-with-american-international/), The Awada School in Bo (see http://awoko.org/2014/06/19/sierra-leone-sports-kcc-ends-successful-cricket-coaching-in-bo/), Police Primary School, and in the Kissy community (see http://awoko.org/2014/06/10/sierra-leone-sports-kcc-takes-cricket-to-kissy-police-primary-school/.

The  club has also donated cricket equipment to Prince of  Wales Secondary School, St. Edwards Secondary School, and Albert Academy Secondary School to sustain their school cricket programmes (see http://awoko.org/2014/03/10/sierra-leone-sports-kent-cricket-club-donate-kits-to-4-secondary-schools
